How to bid?
You must have an active account as well as some coins in order to be able to participate in the auctions at just1dollar.ca. Auctions involve the use of paid credits known as “coins” used within a game in the system of timed penny auctions.
What you should know about just1dollar.ca
- All auctions start at one penny ($0.01).
- Each bid placed increases the auction price by an additional penny ($0.01).
- Bidding a coin costs $1 (non-refundable).
- Bonus coins can be collected free of charge in different ways, including creating your account, referring a friend, getting coin packages, leaving your testimonials and participating in the just1dollar.ca loyalty program.
- Free delivery to all winners (Canada).
- Purchase an item for which you did not have a winning bid and save. If you didn’t win. Certain specially-marked items are available for purchase within a limited period of 24 hours after the close of the auction. You will receive an instant discount equivalent to the number of coins you bid during the auction. Example: if you bid 10 coins, you would get a discount of $10.00 off the sale price. “Bonus coins” do not count toward a discount.
- There is a limit of 3 auctions won per account within a 5-day period. However, there are some auctions with no winning limit.
- There are several rules that may apply to an auction; for example, an auction can be quick, progressive, have no winning limit or have the item available for purchase. The rules are represented by icons. For more information, see the list of rules in the “Rules” section.
